This hobbyist venture subsequently grew into the first and largest niche recruitment consultancy providing expatriate and local staff to the African GSM industry at the time. I was actively responsible for employing and relocating many Ghanaians, Nigerians, Zimbabweans, South Africans, Indians, Malaysians, Britons and Canadians back to a successful life in Africa.

More recently I set up a software company that revolutionised the Nigerian financial services industry with a range of innovative technologies including eBanking, ePension, eFund Management, eStock Broker and Smart Card based, Biometric driven ePayment.

I was the first CEO of the African subsidiary of a $1.5Bn NASDAQ quoted company in Nigeria and I am currently on record as the first African to list a company on the UK Stock Exchange (PLUS Markets). It was a great honour for me to have been awarded the Gathering of Africas (GAB) Best award in Entrepreneurship for 2009 in London recently.

I serve as a Consultant and Adviser to African Governments and leaders who value my views on development policy, strategy and inward investment. I also consult for Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms, Investment Banks and Foreign Investors by helping them craft and redesign their African investment strategies.
